"Immersive Glow" (hereinafter referred to as "the Extension") respects and protects user privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Extension handles your data.
The Extension does not collect or transmit any personal data or user information. The developer receives no data from the Extension.
The Extension stores only two settings: whether the effect is turned on, and whether the page backdrop is turned on. They are saved in Chrome's extension storage (chrome.storage.sync). If you have turned on Chrome sync, Chrome may sync these two settings across your own devices; the developer never has access to them.
On YouTube video pages, the Extension reads frames from the video that is playing and draws a blurred copy of them on the page to create the glow effect. This happens entirely inside your browser. Video frames are never saved, uploaded, or sent anywhere, and the Extension does not read page content or record your viewing history.
The Extension does not use any third-party analytics, advertising services, or tracking technologies, and it makes no network requests.
