"Header Override" (hereinafter referred to as "the Extension") respects and protects user privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Extension handles your data.
The Extension does not collect or transmit any personal data or user information. The developer receives no data from the Extension.
The header rules you create (header name, value, target domains, and on/off state) are stored only in your browser's local extension storage (chrome.storage.local). This may include values you enter yourself, such as API tokens. This data stays on your device, is not synced to other devices, and is never sent to the developer or any third party. Deleting a rule or uninstalling the Extension removes it.
The Extension uses your rules only to add, replace, or remove request headers on the fetch / XHR requests your browser sends to the domains you choose. Headers are modified by Chrome's built-in declarativeNetRequest API. The Extension never reads the content of your requests, responses, or web pages, and does not record your browsing history.
The Extension does not use any third-party analytics, advertising services, or tracking technologies.
declarativeNetRequest: Used to apply the header rules you configure to outgoing requests.storage: Used to save your header rules and on/off settings locally on your device.<all_urls>): Required so that rules can modify headers on any domain you choose, including localhost and your own servers.Any changes to this Privacy Policy will be reflected on this page.
